Culinary technique - Soak

culinary technique : soak
culinary technique : soak

We usually use the soak technique when we want to soften back dried matter. Great examples are dried fruits like raisins or plums, but also vegetables like sun-dried tomatoes.

The products reabsorb the chosen liquid (water, wine, juice, etc.) before being used in preparations such as bread, focaccia, or in mixes.
