Culinary technique - Micro wave
We sometimes forget that we can also use the micro-wave for things other than heating. Think of:
Technique:
- drying herbs and leafy vegetables
- subtle cooking of mushrooms or truffles
- defrosting
- crispy cooking of vegetables
- steaming in a closed container
- melting (vegetable) cheese
- preparing scrambled eggs
- making compote from fruit
- raising dough
- grilling nuts
- crispy vegetables
- etc...
