ThéRâPie
Travelling to Japan without leaving Luxembourg is possible at ThéRâPie. Everything is in the detail: the restaurant setting, the tableware, the menu, the plating… There is a real sense of harmony throughout the experience. Young chef Maud Ravix already offers a very beautiful pure plant cuisine. She trained with We’re Smart Untouchable chef René Mathieu, but today she is developing her own style: a delicate, subtle pure plant kitchen with strong Japanese influences. The combinations are sometimes surprising, but always balanced. The seasons are respected, as is the product, often used in its entirety. There is a clear desire to avoid waste, but also to work with plant ingredients with precision. The plant-based milk is homemade, as is the tofu. At lunchtime, the fully pure plant lunch is inspired by the cuisine of Buddhist monks. In the evening, several options are available, including the omakase: a true moment of exchange, where the chef presents and plates the dishes in front of the guests. A coherent, sensitive and mastered pure plant experience, where Japanese inspiration reveals the product rather than masking it.
