Steirereck
Steiereck is a culinary institute in Vienna and, with the renovation of a few years ago, also became one of Europe's architecturally striking restaurants. Chef Heinz Reitbauer is a man who pushes the boundaries of gastronomy and reinvents traditional dishes and gives them a unique and very personal twist. He is very focused on the quality and origin of his products. Many ingredients come from his farm or are of Austrian origin. His dishes stand out due to the exuberant and exceptionally creative use of vegetables. He combines carrots with mandarin, calf tongue and radish; Bergamot and wild hop shoots accompany white asparagus soup and wild hop shoots, and with pike, it produces zucchini flowers, salted capers and primrose.
