Bij Jef
Jef is located in a former rectory in the center of Den Hoorn on the Wadden island of Texel. Jef Schuur is a Dutch Cuisine ambassador with a predilection for local products such as Texel (suckling) lamb, Texel cheeses and crustaceans. He describes the dishes on his menu as 'local meets cosmopolitan'. He prepares lobster with carrot, ginger, blood orange and cloves, mackerel with fermented leeks and kaffir and sole with candied cauliflower in brown butter and winkles. 8 design suites have been set up above the restaurant.
