Villette
Villette is a restaurant that offers fresh and nutritious food based on seasonal produce. The owners Jesper Emil Norrie and Martin Ho have teamed up with chef Marissa Lippert from New York City (formerly of Nourish Kitchen + Table) to create a vegetable-heavy menu that focuses on seasonal produce. They offer a selection of natural wines, but also alcohol free is no problem. Although the potential is there, the dishes weren’t yet where they could be regarding texture and flavor combinations. Some of the ingredients, such as the Romanesco cauliflower, were slightly overcooked, making the textures here and there a little too mushy. As it’s quite a new restaurant, I’m sure a next visit will show improvement and a higher rating.
