Sabor y Vida
In 1985, the owners of the lacto-ovo-vegetarian poject Sabor y Vida began their business by opening a yogurt shop that sold natural products and produced yogurt, building a customer base that led them to launch their restaurant service in 1989. At the start of the new century, vegetarian options in general were more widely promoted and advertised, leading to greater customer traffic, but customers also demanded higher quality and better service. “Sabor y Vida” defined itself now as a lacto-ovo-vegetarian restaurant, taking on the challenge of offering the flavors of Peruvian Creole-Andean cuisine but in a vegetarian style.
We've seen a lot of restaurants, but at Sabor y Vida you feel straight "home". Humberto is a host with such a great empathy, top guest minded, it is for him so natural! Every day early in the morning he drives to the market to buy the ultra-fresh ingredients for his delicious dishes. No big preparations, no big changes, just pure vegetables and fruits on your plate! The whole kitchen is 100% vegetable oriented, no meat, no fish, nothing, since nearly 30 years. If in Lima and you like great easy pure plant food, Sabor y Vida is a nice place to try!
