Hannah Harradine and Chef Joel Gray are justly proud of their farmhouse restaurant Down Home. It’s a wonderful concept, rooted deeply in nature. Their regenerative organic farm is the foundation of everything – reflecting the seasons, focusing on local produce, and guiding the chef’s creativity. The menu is therefore always evolving, shaped by what the garden has to offer at that very moment. For a chef, that’s both a blessing and a challenge, as it requires great flexibility. With all these strengths, it’s a pity that a pure plant option is not yet available – something we at We’re Smart see as a missed opportunity…
