De Tuinkamer
This restaurant is open from April until Christmas. That’s when chef Alwin Leemhuis can cook with the plants he gets straight from the monumental gardens that surround the old greenhouse which was turned into a restaurant. The Priona gardens were designed 60 years ago and became an example of Dutch wave-landscape architecture. The menu changes weekly and proudly serves ‘the garden’ that has been ecological since its conception and houses over 6000 plants, of which 1000 were on the red list. This is the true starting point of the chef’s creations, pure plant or not, but all dishes have a minimum of 80% of plants. A new address for your bucket list?
