Jonnie and Thérèse Boer continue their own course. Their style is averse to conventions, with a lot of humor and passion. From the very beginning, Boer has worked with vegetables and herbs from the immediate vicinity. In the greenhouses of Eef Stel, Boer has his own department where special herbs and special vegetables are grown, from lemon verbena to cardoon and from mini-vegetables to edible flowers of the East Indian cherry. The Librije vegetable menu is marvelous. For the Dutch chefs he is one of the godfathers of the culinary revolution.
