Led by Thérèse, Isabelle & Jimmie Boer are ready to continue Jonnie's work with chef & co-owner Nelson Tanate. The style of De Librije is averse to conventions, with a lot of humor and passion. From the very beginning, the Boer family has worked with vegetables and herbs from the immediate vicinity. In the greenhouses of Eef Stel, the restaurant has his own department where special herbs and special vegetables are grown, from lemon verbena to cardoon and from mini-vegetables to edible flowers of the East Indian cherry. The Librije vegetable menu is marvelous, 5 Radishes richly deserved. For the Dutch chefs he is one of the godfathers of lands culinary revolution. The restaurant is housed in the old women's prison in Zwolle, where 19 hotel rooms are also furnished. Did you try already the chef’s table?
