The We’re Smart Discovery Awards nominees for the year 2026

Every year, the We’re Smart® Green Guide recognises restaurants that stand out through their commitment to putting vegetables at the heart of their cuisine. A Discovery Award nominee can be a new or recently opened restaurant, but also an established restaurant that has made significant progress by giving vegetables a more prominent role on the menu, introducing pure plant menus, or taking other meaningful steps that result in gaining one or more Radishes.

The Discovery of the Year Award is only presented in countries with at least three eligible Discoveries rated 3 Radishes or higher. Nominations are announced throughout the year. Restaurants can be nominated several times, but can only win the Discovery of the Year award once.
