Kasvio
Kasvio means herbarium. In a rescued factory / church you find an intimate restaurant with 30 chairs. In the summer you can enjoy the garden and terrace. Owner Mari Pitkänen is a vegan trained chef from Finland. She believes in telling stories, so the dishes are accompanied by a poem and very well explained by the friendly staff. Her dishes have a very strong Nordic taste profile. Think forest and winter. Visually pleasing, nice build up in the dishes. Menu changes every two – two and a half months. The dinner menu’s at Kasvio does not aim to replicate non-vegan dishes but instead dives into culinary memories for inspiration and transform these memories into something new.
