The Gate, whose first restaurant was born in 1989, calls itself vegetable pioneers. The basis of the menu in all four restaurants is vegetarian and vegan dishes that are prepared with knowledge. Classics from the world kitchen also form the base such as vol au vent filled with morels, oyster mushrooms, portobello's with a creamy mustard sauce or a Caesar salad, with smoked tofu, avocado, capers, cherry tomatoes, polenta croûtons and Roman lettuce.
