Butterfly, Marlia Capannori

We are in Lucca, one of Italy's most beautiful cities, famous for its magnificent cathedrals, monuments and extraordinary circular amphitheatre. In a beautiful villa just outside the city walls is the starred restaurant Butterfly. Chef Fabrizio Girasoli is a creative genius. He has the ability to create astonishing menus on the spot, that have nothing to envy to those studied at a desk. His ability to improvise is truly amazing. It is possible to ask for a vegetarian or vegan menu. The dishes are exceptional, with lots of seasonal vegetables. When the weather is nice, you can eat in the park under the beautiful old trees.
