La Huerta de Tudela
La Huerta de Tudela is a nature restaurant. Chef Ricardo Gil brings vegetables from his own garden in a very pure way, asparagus is asparagus with some olive oil, artichokes are fried in olive oil, a mushroom risotto is a pure mushroom risotto. No surprises, but no disappointments either. That is why the restaurant in the centre of Madrid is always full of people from the neighbourhood who appreciate this delicious cuisine. Interesting is the vegetarian level of the menus: the degustation menu where vegetables play the main role, the vegetable menu where meat and fish are sometimes present as garnish, and the vegan menu in its pure form.
