The Charter Oak offers a pleasant and family experience with a simple and seasonal cuisine, with meat grilled over the open fire, with vegetables grown on the farm and local wines from the Napa Valley. Each dish emphasises one or two ingredients and is designed to share with the table companions. Such as crispy potatoes "tostones" with browned butter and Mendocino sea lettuce; a tart of dried tomatoes with ricotta, fermented honey, almond, basil and mint or cauliflower grilled with mushrooms and red wine. Vegetables and herbs are always in the spotlight, according to the seasons and inspiration from the chef.
