Petersham Nurseries Café

The name deceives; this is not a cafe but a lunch restaurant located in a park on the Thames. You eat on the terrace or in the conservatory, which is furnished with antique furniture. The restaurant is part of Petersham Nurseries of the Italian/English Boglione family (also known for La Goccia, London). The kitchen is supplied with vegetables, fruit and poultry from its own organic farm in East Devon and from small producers. The menu features seasonal, Italian-inspired dishes with a good dose of vegetables and an excellent selection of vegetarian dishes.
