The Willows Inn

Lummi Island is an hour's drive from Vancouver and two hours from Seattle. Then you have to take a ferry to get there. Blaine Wetzel, a veteran of Noma in Copenhagen, revived the age-old restaurant. His menu contains dishes that are a clever combination of local fishery and agricultural products such as in a combination of root vegetables with a shellfish sauce, or grilled halibut with bay leaves and pink scallops with black radishes. The beautiful lush nature is a plus. There is no better marriage between land and sea.
