Frank Fol selected into the JUNE TOP50 FOODIE liste 2021!

The aforementioned Frank Fol disappeared a bit into the background after his passage on the then BRTN with the MondFol program and the yo-yoing Michelin star in the Leuven Sire Pynnock, but that was just an illusion. Behind the scenes, he continued to pursue the dream of getting more vegetables (and fruit) on the menus of first Belgian restaurants, then restaurants in the Benelux and finally the whole world, without necessarily pursuing a vegan lifestyle. He is therefore one of the great sources of inspiration and discoverers of, for example, a Seppe Nobels, and publishes with his organisation We're Smart World every year a green guide, in which he awards the best vegetable restaurants in the world. In doing so, he is the forerunner of more renowned guides such as Gault&Millau and Michelin, which did not join in the movement until years later. Frank Fol was ahead of his time, and unfortunately that did not always play to his advantage.
