The Root Cellar

Tempora Since 2012, only local and organic ingredients are used here, and freshness is of course paramount. Homemade is self-evident with vinaigrettes and spices, with generous soups, sourdough for Neapolitan pizzas and also for 100% vegetable dishes, for vegetarians and vegans. The Root Cellar is part of the Forest City Worker Cooperative and is closely associated with On The Move Organics and the London Brewing Co-operative. This restaurant puts sustainability first and fights for a change in our food system. Working in a cooperative, supporting local organic farming and paying attention to protecting the planet are not just intentions here, but are being translated into action.
